Staind Chicago Concert reviews
Poor sound
This was the 1st time I had seen Staind and it will most likely be my last. The acoustics in the Event Center was poor. The volume was way too high. I couldn’t understand anything that Aaron was singing. The seats were right on top of each other. I was practically sitting in my neighbors lap. I couldn’t move. And to top it off, the band only played for an hour and a half. No encore. Nothing. They seemed not interested in even being there.
I did win $100 on the slots though. So that made up for the tickets that were wasted on the concert.
Staind in Reno!
The concert was great, Aaron Lewis rocked it as always…he’s got the best voice when he sings although the monster metal voice wasn't my favorite. The sound was good but the Reno Ballroom isn’t my favorite venue in Reno because it’s all “floor” seating (which sucks for us shorties)! But Ticketmaster upgraded our seats (no extra charge) and we were much closer to the stage and on the center isle which was great! If the seats were staggered, I would have been able to see the stage much better which would have been nice, but all I saw was the bad extensions on the woman’s head in front of me. Boo hoo. I hope Staind comes back again for another show at a different Venue (Grand Sierra?).
